BOARD OF LIQUOR LICENSE COMMISSIONERS

The Board of Liquor License Commissioners regulates the retail sale of alcoholic beverages in Talbot County (Code Alcoholic Beverages Article, secs. 30-101 through 30-2801; County Code, secs. 11-1 through 11-20).

In Talbot County, the Board's three members are appointed by the Governor to six-year terms (Code Alcoholic Beverages Article, secs. 30-101 through 30-206).

OFFICE OF PERMITS & INSPECTIONS

In July 2011, the Office of Permits and Inspections merged with the Office of Planning and Zoning to form the Planning and Permits Department. In October 2014, when the Planning and Permits Department reformed as the Planning and Zoning Department, the Office of Permits and Inspections became a separate office again.
