BIOMARYLAND CENTER
As part of Maryland BIO 2020 Initiative, BioMaryland Center opened in Jan. 2009 as Maryland Biotechnology Center. In April 2013, it was renamed BioMaryland Center. Formerly under Department of Business and Economic Development, functions of BioMaryland Center transferred to Maryland Technology Development Corporation in Oct. 2015 (Chapter 141, Acts of 2015). There, it was immediately restructured as Life Sciences Investment Fund.

Renamed Marketing in Nov. 2016.

TECHNOLOGY COMMERCIALIZATION FUND
Renamed Seed Investment Funding in Nov. 2016.
